Harley's Angles

raised so far

of $6,000 goal

In 2013, friends of the Harley's Angles A-Team donated over $10,000 to MND NSW when we Walked to d'Feet MND. This year, Harley's Angles are signing up to a virtual challenge event, Australia Moves for MND.

Our gorgeous friend/colleague/comrade/rellie, Kirsten Harley, is a distance athlete; MND has meant that she's exchanged 10km ocean swims for the best, hardest, most rewarding distance event of all: staying alive with MND. Our team's going to be celebrating STAYING ALIVE by dancing, daggy domestic (socially-distanced) disco style, every day for a month, to raise funds and awareness for MND NSW. There will be video evidence.

Founded in 1981, MND NSW currently supports 586 people with motor neurone disease plus their family and carers. It’s why our community is so amazing and so strong and also why we’re so thankful to everyone who helps us out.

It’s not an exaggeration to say MND NSW wouldn’t be able to do what they do without community fundraisers. Things like providing equipment (think electric wheelchairs, communication devices, electric beds and walking frames) to help keep people with MND at home, running an Infoline so people can get the information they need when they need it, organising a range of education workshops and seminars, as well as raising funds for research.
